Kanako Salon has been serving the New York City community since 2011 and is now in its third Herald Square location. Founded by Kanako, a stylist with 13+ years of experience at elite salons including Warren Tricomi, the salon specializes in private, one-on-one appointments that prioritize your comfort and vision. We serve all hair types, genders, and ages—and we're committed to making professional styling accessible. Students receive 50% off haircuts. Essential workers, teachers, unemployed individuals, and single mothers also receive 50% haircut discounts. Japanese-language service is available (日本語でもどうぞ). Kanako's background includes professional photoshoots and fashion shows, bringing editorial precision to every cut and color. Open 7 days a week, 9am–9pm.
