A room built for staying.

We opened Velvet Hours in 2022 because every lounge in the city was loud, bright, and trying to flip the table in forty-five minutes. We wanted somewhere to stay.

The booths are velvet because velvet absorbs sound. The lighting is dim because dim light makes people lean in. The hookah menu is thirty-eight flavors deep because Selim refuses to short-cut a blend. The mezze is family-style because nobody enjoys watching a friend eat alone.

We don't take walk-ins past 10pm on Friday and Saturday — by then the room is full, and the room is the point. Reservations are easy: pick a time, pick a booth, tell us if it's a birthday. We'll do the rest.

If you've been to a lounge in Las Vegas that watches the clock, this isn't that. The clock here runs slow on purpose.
